SHORT DESCRIPTION
Extremely flat input device for precise capturing of signatures with a high-resolution 5" (12.5 cm) full-color display for the brilliant display of the signature in real-time as well as graphics and buttons. Thanks to the big LCD, the pad is best suited for stationary use in the office or at your point of sale (POS). The device has a USB connection cable with approx 2.0 meters length.
NFC (Near Field Communication)
The signature pad signotec Omega can optionally be equipped with an NFC reader. This international standard for wireless data exchange enables extremely secure data transfer. The special feature of NFC is that two devices (eg: signotec Omega and another device, e.g. a smart card) can be kept at a distance of a few centimeters to initiate a data transfer.
To use the NFC reader, you need a software that works with the NFC standard. Integrators can use the development interface provided by Microsoft.

- Special pen with springy tip (changeable), attached with cord to the pad

EQUIPMENT
Basically, everything you need is included. As an optional and useful accessory, we also offer screen protectors, which significantly extend the life of the sensor surface.
SOFTWARE
Our basic software ("signoPAD-Tools") for simple recording of the signature as an image (e.g. in Word and Excel) is available as a free download at www.signotec.com.
NOTE: If you want to sign PDF documents with legally binding, you will need our "signoSign/2" software.

RSA Features
The signotec pads have the highest security mechanisms available. This allows a complete chain of evidence in dispute. Depending on the integration, different techniques are used:
- PDF documents can be signed inside the pad and not in the insecure environment of the PC.
- The biometric data of the signature can be RSA-encrypted inside the pad using a public key.
- RSA-signature of the displayed content and signature.
- Upon delivery, each pad has a separate and unique RSA certificate for signing.
- Storing of custom RSA-certificates inside the pad.
- The pad can generate a RSA certificate.
- Supported schemes are RSA PKCS # 1 v1.5 (with or without the hash OID), PKCS # 1 v2.1
- Certificates can be certified by a Root Authority
- Supported hash algorithms are SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512.
